Norris Emeka Ekwerekwu — known worldwide as DJ MegaPrime and affectionately called “Koko” on the streets of Nigeria — stands today as one of Africa’s most versatile and in-demand disc jockeys. Born in Onitsha, Anambra State, and raised across Kaduna and Abuja, MegaPrime’s entry into the music world began while he worked in promotions for a top Abuja nightclub. Frustrated by DJs who restricted themselves to single genres, he recognized an opportunity: to fuse the world’s richest sounds into one unstoppable energy. In 2012, under his first moniker DJ Koko Testa, he transformed that vision into reality.
